Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
HomeProjectCalcs (“we”, “us”) operates homeprojectcalcs.com. We are based in Spain and this policy is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, we don’t ask for accounts or store your inputs, and any data collection comes from the third-party services described below.
Data the calculators process
Numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser only. They are not transmitted to our servers, stored, or shared. Reloading a page clears them.
Hosting and server logs
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify visitors. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and consent
The site itself does not set cookies. If advertising or analytics are enabled (see below), those services may set cookies or use similar technologies. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent through a certified consent management platform (CMP) before any such cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the consent banner.
Advertising
We may display ads served by Google AdSense or comparable networks. Ad partners may process personal data (such as your IP address and ad interaction data) and, with your consent, use cookies to personalise ads. Without consent, ads are shown on a non-personalised basis. Google publishes details of its data handling at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google settings or via the consent banner.
Analytics
If we enable analytics, we will use a privacy-respecting configuration (IP anonymisation, no cross-site tracking) and disclose the provider here. As of the date above, no analytics script is active on this site.
Your rights (GDPR)
As an EU/EEA visitor you have the right to access, rectify, and erase personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Because we hold essentially no personal data ourselves, most requests will concern our hosting or advertising partners — but you can always start with us and we will help route the request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Spain that is the AEPD (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
Children
The site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our data practices change and revise the date above. Questions and requests: hello@homeprojectcalcs.com or the contact page.
